I create collectable, one-of-a-kind gold leaf artworks on wood panel or aluminium, that explore light, form, texture, and negative space. I began using gold leaf to explore how light transforms imagery throughout the day, creating shifting narratives.
Each hand finished piece is uniquely different; size and colour options are available but only 5 pieces in each variant are created.
These unique and atmospheric artworks are created through a blend of photography and painting, via the layering of pigment inks, acrylic paint and various glazes. Reflected ambient light gives an atmospheric warmth that draws the eye, particularly at sunset or under candlelight.
